  1. Compared to other diet trends in the 50s this game (and the book) give some surprisingly good advice. The goal is to restrict your calorie intake to about 1500 calories a day while educating you about healthy foods. It is just funny to see how the author suggests smoking to increase your metabolism, oh the wild 50s. A large part of the book is available at Google Books for free by the way.

    1. I’m glad you enjoyed this! By the way, since you are in advertising this will interest you: Elmer Wheeler coined the phrase “sell the sizzle not the steak.” He wrote numerous advertising books (which I own).
